Overview
Leidos is looking for a Cybersecurity Strategy Consultant to become an integral part of our dynamic cyber defense team. In this pivotal role, you will focus on thwarting, detecting, and eliminating cyber threats to our systems. Your primary responsibility will be to devise and articulate strategies that ensure our organization remains a leader in the cybersecurity domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including government representatives and executive leadership, to provide guidance on the implementation of a comprehensive Zero Trust framework.
- Drive the integration of Zero Trust principles throughout the organization, enhancing our Identity, Credential, and Access Management initiatives.
- Assess and recommend advanced security technologies to bolster our cybersecurity posture.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 12-15 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity.
- Experience in a federal public sector setting, particularly with agencies like the Department of Homeland Security.
- Proficiency in Zero Trust architectures and infrastructures.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of NIST and CISA guidelines and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and the CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model.
