Position Title: Store Floor Supervisor

Employment Type: Full Time

Reporting To: Store Manager

Job Overview:

The Store Floor Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in creating an environment that prioritizes exceptional customer service, fosters team morale, and drives sales growth.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in ensuring adequate staffing across all departments and aid in scheduling and time management tasks.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to company policies, including dress code and operational procedures.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the Store Manager regarding employee performance evaluations.
  • Identify and coordinate project completion to enhance store operations.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures, including cash drawer preparation.
  • Act as a liaison between management and team members, ensuring clear communication.
  • Engage with customers to address inquiries and assist with their needs.
  • Operate the cash register as required and assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking and cleaning.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant retail experience.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Essential Skills:

To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interpret various documents and follow instructions effectively.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires frequent physical activity, including lifting up to 25 lbs., standing, and walking. Occasional lifting of heavier items may be necessary.


Work Environment:

The work environment is typically fast-paced, with expectations for meeting sales goals and deadlines. Associates may encounter various atmospheric conditions and are required to adhere to safety protocols.
