Acquisition Specialist II

Amentum is currently in search of an Acquisition Analyst II to contribute to the PM Soldier Survivability (PM SSV) project office under the Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative and dynamic team dedicated to delivering advanced protection, individual equipment, and aviation life support capabilities that enhance combat effectiveness and support mission success.

Note: This position is contingent upon award.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support acquisition management across a comprehensive product line.
  • Facilitate coordination of products and tasks throughout the acquisition process and lifecycle phases.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of all Milestone documentation.
  • Contribute to the determination of contracting strategies, prepare necessary contracting documents, and coordinate with Army Contracting Command.
  • Engage in product Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), testing events, reviews, and demonstrations.
  • Provide oversight for contracts related to assigned products.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of program budgets and master schedules.
  • Help prepare Supply Requests Packages for the Defense Logistics Agency and manage the transition of products.
  • Contribute to the development and drafting of Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, and other relevant documents.
  • Perform financial reporting, status updates, and basic logistics tasks.
  • Assist in acquisition planning and evaluate cost, schedule, and performance risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.

Required Clearance:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret. Please note that U.S. Citizenship is necessary to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.
