Lead Manufacturing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Assembler to join our team at Baxter. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for coordinating the work of HNE employees and ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all lines have appropriate labor to meet expectations and manage MAR operator assignments
- Maintain contact with customer departments to ensure awareness of any product or process problems that affect customer satisfaction
- Lead initiatives to maintain a continuous improvement environment around manufacturing operations by implementing and innovating with six sigma, lean manufacturing, VSM's, 6's, and any other philosophies that will reduce waste, increase productivity, quality, and safety
- Control and execute production shift schedule and work with support departments to set up actions when they are not achieved
- Identify, communicate, and work on issues in a timely manner to avoid impact on production schedule and/or operations
- Assign workers to work stations to meet production requirements and ensure specifications, GMP's, and GDP's are followed
- Follow quality procedures to identify and address regulatory and operational issues
- Document and record regulatory requirements in the Batch folder (parameters, test, verifications, etc)
- Monitor production and adjust work assignments, supply of material, and machine operation when necessary
- Optimize product and material flow to meet daily build plan
- Assist in updating procedures for the process according to regulations, internal and corporate procedures, and Baxter specifications and policies
- Enforce company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations
- Maintain an appropriate labor-management relationship with subordinates
- Ensure GMP's, GDP's, and any EHS requirement are followed in areas of responsibility
- Assist root cause analysis and investigations to address safety, quality, and/or productivity issues
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of 6 months Lead experience
- Manufacturing or Pharma experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience with mechanical, electrical equipment, and troubleshooting of problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of corporate specifications and plant standard operating procedures
- Knowledge of Bill of Material process
- Must have good documentation practices and strong interpersonal skills
