Lead Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary:
Turion Space is seeking a highly skilled Lead Manufacturing Engineer to oversee and guide the manufacturing engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and refining manufacturing processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
- Manage manufacturing projects from conception through to completion.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed industry standards and specifications.
- Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a proven track record in leading manufacturing operations and process improvements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in guiding and developing engineering teams.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and equipment management.
- Experience managing manufacturing projects, including planning, execution, and resource management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with significant experience in aerospace or high-tech industries.
- Expertise in advanced manufacturing techniques, process optimization, and technology.
