Job Summary:

Turion Space is seeking a highly skilled Lead Manufacturing Engineer to oversee and guide the manufacturing engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and refining manufacturing processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
  • Manage manufacturing projects from conception through to completion.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed industry standards and specifications.
  • Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a proven track record in leading manufacturing operations and process improvements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in guiding and developing engineering teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and equipment management.
  • Experience managing manufacturing projects, including planning, execution, and resource management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with significant experience in aerospace or high-tech industries.
  • Expertise in advanced manufacturing techniques, process optimization, and technology.
