Lead Manufacturing and Supportability Engineer

At Butler America Aerospace, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Lead Manufacturing and Supportability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting all designs and providing expertise in manufacturing, including production, test, evaluation, and certification.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop efficient manufacturing solutions and processes to support the development of an eVTOL system.
- Provide manufacturing expertise and give feedback to leadership on technical approaches, products, and processes.
- Assist in creating standard processes and procedures within the field while working with the design team throughout the conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design.
- Collaborate with all technical development teams to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing and design efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required; Master's or PhD degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with manufacturing and/or design of an aerospace system/product.
- Experience developing and implementing new processes and procedures.
- Experience with new aircraft development, prototyping, certification, and production.
- Experience with supplier management and evaluation in a manufacturing capacity.
- Knowledge of certification rules and processes, including ARP 4754A, ARP 4761, DO-160.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive delivery of communication and follow-up.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints.
