Your Role and Contribution

The Senior Project Coordinator will oversee the comprehensive management of significant clients and projects, encompassing design, communication, personnel oversight, budgeting, scheduling, quality assurance, business development, and client relationship management. This role will involve the formulation and execution of annual business objectives and support in the development of multi-year strategic plans for the department. Additionally, this position will entail the overall management of assigned team members.

Key Duties

  • Conducts planning and execution of work requiring independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation of established techniques and criteria.
  • Oversees major clients/projects, including strategic accounts and complex projects that may involve multi-departmental services generating revenue exceeding $1M; accountable for achieving project profitability.
  • Develops and monitors complex, multi-departmental client proposals, including scope writing, technical and pricing proposals, statements of interest, amendments, budget creation, scheduling, and issue identification.
  • Prepares workload forecasting reports to ensure project alignment with business goals.
  • Ensures adherence to all environmental regulations, surveying standards, and permitting requirements.
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of applicable Codes and Standards relevant to project design.
  • Drafts technical and pricing proposals, statements of interest, amendments, and schedules.
  • Advocates for and implements quality assurance and quality control measures to enhance deliverable quality and minimize design errors.
  • Prepares, reviews, and coordinates contractual agreements for projects, signing within established parameters.
  • Identifies new market opportunities, develops leads, engages in business development activities, and explores new geographical areas.
  • Mentors, coaches, and inspires project team members and sub-consultants.
  • Directs and guides team members, providing annual performance evaluations and career development plans.
  • Manages project risks in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant Architectural field.
  • Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Licensure/Certification: Registered Architect (RA) or equivalent professional licensure in the relevant field is strongly preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit, and Deltek Vision.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a project team, demonstrating strong leadership, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Professional interaction with clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in public speaking, presentation creation, and delegation.
