Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Federal Contracts Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our contract management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of federal contracts, supporting the review and preparation of contract and proposal documents, and negotiating with government officials.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Management
- Lead contractual and subcontracting reporting requirements on key federal contracts, including the Department of Defense and General Services Administration (GSA).
- Track Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) past performance information and aid Project Managers with CPARS responses.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions, coordinate technical scopes of work, and interface with all relevant project disciplines.
- Bid and Proposal Support
- Support development of bids and proposals through the analysis of federal RFPs, contract pre-award meetings and negotiations, and reviewing and finalizing contract award documents.
- Contract Compliance
- Support Project Managers with negotiations and document control of contracts, contract modifications, and other compliance activities, including tracking invoicing.
- Aid in the improvement of the firm's contract management process, ensure timely issuance of contracts, and maintain performance metrics.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in federal contract administration.
- U.S. Citizenship Required and experience with Government Contracts.
- Direct experience with GSA contract reporting requirements and negotiations.
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other supplements.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year institution.
- Ability to be cleared to support intelligence agency contract management activities (e.g., Secret/Top Secret, Suitability Clearance).
- Previous experience with an architecture, engineering, construction, or environmental firm.
The work is performed within a general office environment. The work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
Travel is required only as deemed necessary.
