Job Overview

University Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Geauga Community Oncology department. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to patients with benign hematology, malignant hematology, and solid tumor conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, assign diagnoses, and implement evidence-based care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, scientific advancements, and best practices in oncology care.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and staff to promote professionalism and excellence in care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the State of Ohio.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This is a full-time, day-shift position in our Geauga Community Oncology department. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
