About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in ecommerce. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth through ecommerce platforms and will be responsible for leading the development of processes, procedures, and systems to foster ecommerce expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project and Process Management
    • Develop and implement processes to drive ecommerce growth and expansion.
    • Lead multiple projects simultaneously, including functional requirements, implementation, integration, quality assurance, and training.
    • Track progress, manage scope, deliverables, and budget.
    • Facilitate business growth through key project implementation.
    • Ensure tracking metrics align with sales performance metrics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with management and technology leaders to define requirements and establish system scope.
    • Interface with multiple functions to ensure timely implementation of system improvements.
    • Lead a small team that may include customer service, business intelligence, content creators, etc.
    • Develop and implement go-to-market processes, including support for sales enablement materials.
    • Partner with sales support to provide appropriate sales tools and enablement to adopt/promote the online store.
  • System and Technology Improvement
    • Diagnose system inefficiencies through business intelligence and recommend improvements.
    • Research, evaluate, and lead the deployment of new ecommerce technology features.
    • Identify and implement opportunities for technology improvement to optimize efficiency and customer experience.
    • Contribute to the deployment of system governance and create best practices.
    • Leverage experience to hold vendors accountable to logical solutions as the company grows in ecommerce.
  • Strategy and Growth
    • Assist in developing a strategy to expand ecommerce internationally.
    • Drive adoption through a marketing and sales strategy.
    • Track, manage, and drive revenue pipeline for ecommerce revenue.
    • Gain operational and technical knowledge of the business and its offerings.
    • Identify new B2B trends and technology to enable future growth.
  • Customer and Market Insights
    • Reduce canceled orders through strategic deployment of site upgrades.
    • Work with the communications team to modify and create compelling product descriptions, images, and videos to showcase product features effectively.
    • Assist in driving forecasts for demand planning by understanding where the company is losing traction on the site.
    • Develop reporting that provides insights to improve site performance.
    • Leverage data analytics to understand customer behavior and optimize campaigns for better results.
