Job Summary:

The Hultec Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our production areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance, coaching, training, and support to a team of production workers to ensure performance and adherence to production standards.
  • Production Planning and Scheduling: Coordinate with the production planning team to allocate resources, schedule jobs, and optimize production flow to achieve schedules and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
  • Quality and Safety: Promote a safe working environment by ensuring adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulations throughout the facility. Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity while maintaining accurate production records and documentation.
  • Team Development: Identify training needs, provide training opportunities, and develop talent within the production team to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Leadership and Management Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a supervisor or lead of a manufacturing area, or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of rubber manufacturing, lean/continuous improvement, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information accurately to all levels and practice active listening.
  • Computer Literacy: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 360 applications and ERP systems.
