JOB SUMMARY

We are in search of a dependable Facilities Maintenance Supervisor with expertise in hydraulic systems and the execution of top-tier predictive and preventative maintenance strategies. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing setting. This role will involve assisting the Plant Manager in the transition of operations and equipment from one location to another.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and support the company's Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) management and training initiatives, exemplifying the desired behaviors to all personnel.
  • Guide and mentor team members, driving the accomplishment of company objectives across all performance metrics.
  • Evaluate and propose modifications to procedures, policies, objectives, and standards to relevant leadership teams.
  • Maintain an up-to-date maintenance plan (predictive, preventative, and breakdown repair) that is continuously assessed for enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Production teams to ensure essential spare parts are identified, stocked, and replenished as necessary.
  • Support all product line continuous improvement and daily monitoring efforts with adequate maintenance resources, including planning and executing projects.
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize maintenance work requests effectively.
  • Assess capital investment projects for the long-term maintenance and reliability of equipment.
  • Review and authorize all purchases related to repair and replacement of equipment, maintenance tools, and services.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers of maintenance services and components.
  • Ensure a proactive risk management and mitigation process is in place and regularly updated.
  • Negotiate with strategic vendors as necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, including goal setting, motivation, and conflict management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to convey information accurately to all levels and practice active listening.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Standards.
  • Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Willingness to travel within Texas and internationally.
Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Maintenance.
  • Experience leading projects from inception to completion.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Must wear protective safety equipment.
  • Potential exposure to shop hazards including heavy machinery, fumes, dust, heat, and high pressure and temperatures.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, walk, and stand for the duration of the work shift.
  • Must be capable of lifting at least 50 lbs.
