Position Overview: Licensed Practical Nurse in Ambulatory Care

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will deliver essential clinical and healthcare assistance to practitioners within the Ambulatory Care setting. This role encompasses daily operational responsibilities and may involve various supportive tasks as required.

  • Reports directly to the Nurse Manager
  • Provides high-quality nursing care to patients
  • Executes nursing interventions with precision
  • Follows infection control protocols diligently
  • Administers medications under the guidance of a supervising nurse
  • Addresses patient needs and engages them in their care process
  • Participates actively in emergency response situations
  • Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Monitors patient care and communicates findings effectively
  • Assists with preparatory duties for diagnostic assessments
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program
  • Possession of a valid LPN license in the United States
  • Fluency in English
Experience Requirements:
  • GS-4 level: Minimum of six months of LPN experience or nursing school graduate with one year of experience
  • GS-5 level: At least one year of LPN experience
  • GS-6 level: Minimum of one year of experience at the GS-5 level
Physical Demands:
Ability to perform heavy lifting, reach, walk, stand, bend, and possess near and far vision, as well as hearing without assistance. Mental and emotional stability is essential.
