Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and train sales team members on effective closing techniques, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
  • Lead showroom activities, including sales, service, and parts operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Analyze customer satisfaction metrics and implement strategies to improve scores.
  • Recruit, motivate, and monitor the performance of sales team members, including new and used car sales, internet sales, and finance managers.
  • Conduct regular sales training meetings and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to sales team members.
  • Develop and implement a CRM system to track customer interactions and ensure follow-up.
  • Establish and monitor delivery procedures to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Meet or exceed forecasted sales goals, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
Requirements
  • Minimum five years of experience as a General Manager in a successful dealership, with responsibility for the entire variable operation.
  • Proven track record of building and training a high-performing sales team, with strong customer satisfaction scores and above-average gross and net departmental profits.
  • Strong background in building showroom and internet traffic, SEO, SEM, direct mail, and other traditional media.
  • Extensive experience in leading a BDC department and used vehicle merchandising and marketing.
  • Expertise in supervising sales managers and F&I and improving F&I income through mentorship and training.
