Job Overview

TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is expanding and seeking a Senior Heavy Truck Sales Consultant. The successful candidate will possess experience in truck and/or equipment sales along with a solid understanding of the trucking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and enhance sales of heavy-duty trucks, including both pre-owned and new models, within the designated sales territory.
  • Deliver exceptional service to external clients and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Engage in industry trade shows and conventions, working alongside fellow sales professionals and marketing personnel.
  • Meet or exceed sales and profit targets established by management.
  • Prospect new clients and manage existing accounts within the assigned region.
  • Demonstrate vehicle features and operations in both showroom and on-road settings.
  • Calculate and present sales pricing, including taxes, trade-in values, and financing options.
  • Prepare sales orders and contracts efficiently.
  • Coordinate vehicle delivery and ensure all warranty registrations are completed.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across all TranSource product lines.
  • Commit to continuous learning about the industry, company, and product offerings.
  • Complete required training programs promptly.
  • Uphold a professional appearance at all times.

Compensation: $48,000 - $100,000 annually

Qualifications:

  • Dedication to achieving 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Proven experience in managing calls, developing accounts, and effectively managing time and territory.
  • Strong sales aptitude.
  • Previous sales experience in the trucking or construction sectors is preferred.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Proficient in managing customer expectations.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record and pass a drug screening and background check.
