Job Overview

Transource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is seeking applications for a mobile lubrication technician position.

POSITION SUMMARY

The selected candidate will perform maintenance tasks at various customer sites and/or the main facility, addressing equipment-related inquiries and ensuring optimal performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, and servicing of heavy machinery;
  • Manage inventory by ordering necessary parts and ensuring the lubrication vehicle is adequately stocked with oils and filters;
  • Document detailed inspection and service reports, maintaining accurate records as needed;
  • Execute oil and filter changes efficiently;
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces;
  • Adhere to safety protocols and comply with specific site policies;
  • Follow company guidelines and governmental regulations;
  • Provide recommendations for additional services based on preliminary inspections;
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

The technician will be required to learn and utilize various software applications for inventory management and communication purposes.

Maintaining a professional appearance is essential.

It is crucial to consistently perform job functions with alertness and in a safe manner.

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill all essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are necessary:

  • Valid driving record;
  • Clear criminal background;
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations;
  • Strong customer service abilities;
  • Meticulous attention to detail;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Physical Demands: The role requires constant movement in a dynamic environment, including prolonged periods of driving, as well as bending, kneeling, crawling, and maneuvering under machinery. Candidates must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds and navigating construction/agricultural sites with uneven terrain.
  • Work Environment: Technicians may encounter various hazardous materials and must be prepared to work in diverse weather conditions. Exposure to dust, fumes, and varying noise levels is common, with most tasks performed outdoors or in the field.
  • Travel: Regular driving to and from customer locations is required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED; a minimum of one year of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or relevant training, or a combination of education and experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS

While executing job responsibilities, employees may be exposed to outdoor elements, including extreme temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
