Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Supervisor to join our team at SCA Health. As a Sterile Processing Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality sterilization of instruments and equipment. You will work closely with the Sterile Processing team to ensure each teammate is competent to perform all duties in SPD, including decontamination, correct tray assembly, and sterile processing of all instrumentation used in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintains area/department in an orderly/organized fashion.
Creates schedule for department to ensure coverage for each day
Knowledge of sterilization procedures, aseptic technique, and maintenance and care of instruments and equipment.
Knowledge of standards and engages in practices and procedures of sterile technique.

Requirements:

Certification in Sterile Processing highly preferred
High School Graduate or equivalent
4 Years of Sterile Processing Experience required
1-2 years as Lead Technician/Supervisor preferred
Knowledge of typical OR equipment required
Must be personable, friendly, and exhibit flexibility and positive interpersonal skills
Ability to be flexible with work schedule and maintain regular attendance

Compensation:

Minimum: USD $27.00/Hr.
Maximum: USD $38.00/Hr.
