Your Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate all operational activities to ensure seamless execution and high-quality results
  • Collaborate with managers and employees to identify and resolve customer complaints and implement corrective actions
  • Partner with HR to provide guidance and direction to staff on hiring, disciplinary actions, development, goal formulation, and performance reviews
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety and environmental concerns, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards
  • Lead department personnel in achieving company performance goals, emphasizing safety, quality, and meeting all company standards
  • Advocate sound business practices to operational processes to supply customers and stay within budgeting standards
  • Receive, track, assess, and respond to customer complaints or issues
  • Provide tools and training to develop employees in their regular work, serving as a true business partner in developing solutions
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, minimizing the company's exposure to adverse outcomes of complaints, litigation, audits, and inspections

What We're Looking For
  • 5 years of supervisory experience in managing a multi-tiered organizational structure
  • Minimum 2 years in the metals industry
  • Ability to work in a non-controlled climate
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
  • Operates a computer proficiently (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Comprehends and applies standards and procedures
  • Broad knowledge of marketing/sales practices
  • Knowledge of Logistics, Material handling, Production, and Maintenance
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred

Your Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, or other closely related field strongly preferred
