ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To excel in this position, an individual must effectively carry out each essential function.

Propel Operational Excellence within the facility through Lean/Kaizen initiatives, Continuous Improvement activities, and projects. Partner with cross-functional teams to pinpoint opportunities for process enhancement. Execute data analysis and root cause investigations to uncover areas for improvement. Formulate and implement strategies for process refinement and waste minimization. Lead Lean projects aimed at boosting productivity and efficiency (OEE). Oversee a portfolio of process enhancement projects. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to continuous improvement endeavors. Educate and guide team members on Lean/TPM principles and best practices. Act as a catalyst for change, promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. Ensure that enhancements are maintained over time through effective documentation and standardization of processes. Establish effective communication channels to share project insights and outcomes throughout the organization. Uphold established company values, practices, policies, and procedures consistently. Adhere to and support compliance with all relevant safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards. Maintain an open and honest working relationship with your immediate supervisor/manager regarding important matters. Exhibit regular and punctual attendance at the designated work location.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS

A qualified individual for this position must have and maintain the following qualifications:

Strong preference for a bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Continuous Improvement role (100% of duties focused on CI) within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement certifications are advantageous. 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting. Proven experience in facilitating LEAN events and conducting value stream analysis. Experience collaborating with individuals from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.

The individual will work in an office environment alongside other individuals. Noise levels are typical for an office setting, including conversation and/or office equipment sounds. While collaborating with team members and equipment in manufacturing and distribution facilities, the individual may be exposed to moving machinery, work in elevated or precarious locations, experience marked changes in temperature and humidity, and encounter dust, odors, and fumes. Typical noise levels are loud.
