Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician Coordinator to join our team at Froedtert Health. As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of our pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily operations of the pharmacy technicians in the Central Inpatient Pharmacy
  • Act as a daily resource for pharmacy technicians, providing guidance on technical and operational information
  • Work with the Central Pharmacist to design and implement education programs for technician staff
  • Perform all duties of the pharmacy technician as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a hospital pharmacy technician is preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Application for Wisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required by hire date and must be obtained within 12 months of hire
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Boards exam (PTCE) or the National Health career Associations exam (ExCPT) is required within 6 months of hire
