Sales Representative Role Overview

The Rental Services Sales Representative is responsible for providing rental solutions to customers in all phases of construction, maintenance, and industrial-related products. This role requires a strong understanding of product lines, including features and benefits, as well as the ability to strategically attack a defined sales territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Mustang as an industry leader and promote key differentiators to best serve customers.
  • Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of product lines, including features and benefits.
  • Meet and exceed strategic sales goals.
  • Utilize CRM system to manage customer relationships.
  • Respond quickly to leads and qualify customers.
  • Develop equipment quotes, financing quotes, and other sales proposals as needed.

Requirements

  • College degree in Business, Management, Technical, or other related field.
  • Will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically attack a defined sales territory.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Professional communication skills: verbal, written, phone, email, in-person.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to "think on your feet".

Preferred Experience

  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Knowledge of CAT equipment.
  • Understanding of rental equipment application by our customers.
