Sales Representative Role Overview
The Rental Services Sales Representative is responsible for providing rental solutions to customers in all phases of construction, maintenance, and industrial-related products. This role requires a strong understanding of product lines, including features and benefits, as well as the ability to strategically attack a defined sales territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Mustang as an industry leader and promote key differentiators to best serve customers.
- Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of product lines, including features and benefits.
- Meet and exceed strategic sales goals.
- Utilize CRM system to manage customer relationships.
- Respond quickly to leads and qualify customers.
- Develop equipment quotes, financing quotes, and other sales proposals as needed.
Requirements
- College degree in Business, Management, Technical, or other related field.
- Will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of educational requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to strategically attack a defined sales territory.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Professional communication skills: verbal, written, phone, email, in-person.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to "think on your feet".
Preferred Experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Knowledge of CAT equipment.
- Understanding of rental equipment application by our customers.
