Job Overview

National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a skilled Clinical Care Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children and families.

About the Role

We offer an exciting opportunity for a licensed clinician to work as part of our foster family services team, providing specialized support to families and caregivers. As a Clinical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health services, including assessments, counseling, and case management, to ensure the well-being and safety of the youth in our care.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families, caregivers, and other stakeholders. A strong background in trauma-informed care and experience working with vulnerable populations are essential.

National Youth Advocate Program has been serving communities and clients since 1978, providing unique and personalized services for families and individuals in four areas: Prevention/Intervention, Positive Youth Development, Out-of-Home-Placement, and Reunification/Permanency.

What We Offer

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in social work or a related field, with a license to practice in the state where the position is located
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a clinical setting, preferably with vulnerable populations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families, caregivers, and other stakeholders
  • A strong background in trauma-informed care and experience working with complex cases
  • Ability to travel frequently and drive a personal vehicle while sitting for extended periods
