We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Powers Health as a Senior Clinical Specialist in Cardiology. This role is based in Valparaiso, IN and requires a Master's degree in Nursing.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of nursing experience, preferably 5 years, with a strong background in Cardiology. A valid Indiana Registered Nurse license and prescriptive authority are essential requirements. Board Certification for hospital privileges is also required. CPR certification is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to analyze and solve patient care issues
- Self-direction, leadership, delegation, organization, and teaching ability
- Professional communication skills with physicians, patients, and staff
- Knowledge of nursing theory, medical equipment, medications, and patient education principles
- Strong decision making and time management skills
- Knowledge of pharmacologic agents used in patient treatments
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Nursing
- 3+ years of nursing experience, preferably 5 years
- Indiana Registered Nurse license and prescriptive authority
- Board Certification for hospital privileges

Salary and Benefits:
