Work Location: Washington, DC and Reston, VA

Advantage SCI is in search of a skilled Threat Analyst to fulfill a vital role within our Global Security Division. The selected candidate will act as a subject matter expert, focusing on the comprehensive collection and analysis of intelligence and counterintelligence data. This role is essential for identifying potential threats posed by foreign intelligence services, criminal organizations, and terrorist entities, ensuring the safety of current and future Areas of Operations (AOs).

The analyst will engage regularly with various defense and intelligence agencies, conducting detailed link analysis of threat reports to ascertain connections to potential terrorist or extremist threats against agency operations and assets. Additionally, the analyst will facilitate access to pertinent intelligence to support the mission needs of the Global Security Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough threat analysis and evaluation, leveraging 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Utilize analytical tools effectively to gather information related to threats from hostile entities.
  • Collaborate in an interactive environment, providing insights with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate strong administrative and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive presentations to educate GSD personnel on identified threats.
  • Analyze terrorist threat data to pinpoint asymmetrical threats to U.S. operations.
  • Maintain a TS/SCI clearance and successfully complete a CI Polygraph examination.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Experience with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) is advantageous.
  • Complete required training in PII and Cyber Awareness Challenge within the specified timeframe.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
  • Noise level is generally low to moderate.
