RGA Reinsurance Company is seeking a detail-oriented intern to assist in the Global Audit Services department. This internship will provide the opportunity to apply knowledge of accounting principles to real-world experiences, strengthening skills in report writing, critical thinking, and data analysis. The intern will work closely with internal audit team members and external stakeholders to complete various audit engagements, including operational and financial audits.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to perform testing and walkthrough procedures to assess company compliance, review and analyze control structures, and communicate results to process owners and the audit team. Additionally, they will coordinate with others to complete assignments, maintain positive professional relationships with stakeholders, and assist with drafting reports and work papers.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a full-time college student in progress towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance, demonstrating a desire to learn and actively seeking expertise from others. They will also possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
