We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to lead our Accounts Payable team and drive transformative change in our processes. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of strategic insight and hands-on approach, driving efficiency and innovation while supporting and empowering their team and internal and external customers.

  • Lead and manage the Accounts Payable team, including managing performance evaluations, providing training and guidance, and assigning workflow responsibilities. Maintain and encourage high standards for the team.

Build & Grow Partnerships
  • Build and sustain strong partnerships with internal and external customers and vendors, consistently delivering exceptional customer service.
Executing to Drive Results
  • Oversee full cycle AP processes to ensure timely and accurate invoice capture, payment of invoices, reconciliations of accounts, monthly closes and accruals and delivery of internal reporting.
  • Manage and enhance work processes to ensure timely and accurate payments while following and maintaining internal controls and best practices.
  • Ensure desired results by setting clear expectations, monitoring progress, and guiding the team toward achieving goals.
  • Manage the implementation of new software and testing of software updates.
  • Effectively resolve problems and issues concerning the department.
About You
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' accounting experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years previous management/leadership experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a closely related discipline required.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Excel.
  • Experienced user of Oracle PeopleSoft preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting best practices and internal controls.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to motivate and inspire teams to produce quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrates strong collaboration and partnership; adeptly assessing and balancing team workload to align with individual talents.
  • Possess a sense of urgency and solid decision-making skills; exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
  • High level of attention to detail; must possess strong time management, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Possess a high level of integrity, enthusiasm, and positivity; able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Able to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other associates and departments.
