Role Summary:

The Air Welding Technician will engage in the air welding of products, operate the Gerber automatic cutter, and assist in the creation of accessories. This position requires a self-driven individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform air welding on various products and create accessories using the Gerber GTXL automatic cutter.
  • Support additional processes including inventory management, fabric/material cutting, quality control inspections, and other departmental tasks.
  • Utilize tools such as scissors, round knives, and hot knives for product cutting when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist the Welding Operations Supervisor with various projects and processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of facility equipment.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with team members.
  • Complete other assigned duties as required.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Technical high school or community college education is advantageous.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings.
  • Strong mathematical and geometric skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Hands-on approach to completing tasks.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
