A Patient Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced medical office environment. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting and Registration: Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, verify appointment information, and register new patients.
  • Patient Scheduling: Schedule future appointments based on procedure type, time requirements, and provider schedules.
  • Phone and Correspondence: Answer incoming phone calls, make outbound calls, and respond to patient correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general office duties, such as document preparation, scanning, mailing, and filing.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff, and respond to patient concerns and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Technology and Data Management: Utilize technology, including specialized software, to maximize productivity and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of customer service and/or medical office experience preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates preferred, but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) required.
