Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, including case intake, investigation, pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct interviews with clients to gather information and evidence to support their claims.
  • Research and develop theories of liability and damages for personal injury cases.
  • Negotiate with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other parties to resolve cases efficiently and effectively.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents as needed.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, investigators, and other staff members to gather evidence and prepare cases for trial.
  • Represent clients at depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Maintain accurate records of client communications, pleadings, and case files.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the law and develop expertise in areas such as negligence law, product liability law, medical malpractice law, and workers' compensation law.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • At least three years of experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of personal injury litigation, including case management, pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in handling cases involving motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, products liability, workers' compensation, or other areas of personal injury law.
  • Membership in professional organizations such as the State Bar Association or the American Association for Justice.
  • Certification in areas such as civil trial advocacy or workers' compensation law.
