Position Overview:

The Roth Firm is seeking to expand its team with an Associate Attorney. Successful candidates will be tasked with managing Personal Injury claims from initiation to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidates must possess the ability to gather, analyze, and research pertinent information and documents while managing a substantial caseload. The ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail is essential. Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are required. Candidates should be team-oriented and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment. Experience in litigation and negotiation is necessary.

Preferred qualifications include a minimum of two years of experience in personal injury or auto insurance, with Spanish-speaking candidates receiving strong consideration.

Job Duties Include:

  • Overseeing file progress with legal staff and maintaining communication with clients regarding key case issues.
  • Evaluating the merits of claims and negotiating settlements.
  • Engaging with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
  • Determining the necessity of litigation and aggressively pursuing cases of all sizes.
  • Monitoring and managing client relationships, including educating clients on processes and setting appropriate expectations.
  • Responding promptly to all client inquiries.
  • Conducting initial case evaluations and contract signings.
  • Reviewing case facts and monitoring treatment progress.
  • Negotiating settlements and assessing the necessity of litigation.
  • Overseeing the litigation process to ensure compliance with timelines.
  • Preparing interrogatories and responses.
  • Assisting with mediation and trial preparation.
  • Participating in court hearings.
  • Facilitating closing and settlement meetings with clients.
  • Tracking and reporting on case and office expenses, managing cost control, expense recoupment, and fee collection.
  • Resolving outstanding items on Trust and Business accounts.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

*Bi-Lingual/Spanish-speaking candidates are highly regarded for this role, though not mandatory.
