Job Overview:

The Roth Firm is looking to expand its team with an Associate Attorney. Successful candidates will manage Personal Injury claims from initiation to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee file progress in collaboration with legal staff and maintain communication with clients regarding significant case developments.
  • Assess the merits of claims and negotiate settlements effectively.
  • Engage with opposing counsel and insurance representatives.
  • Determine the necessity for litigation and pursue cases of varying sizes vigorously.
  • Manage client relationships, educating them on processes and setting realistic expectations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to gather, analyze, and research information and documents while managing a high-volume caseload.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication abilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Experience in litigation and negotiation is required.
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in personal injury or auto insurance and proficiency in Spanish.

Additional Duties:

  • Respond promptly to client inquiries.
  • Conduct initial case evaluations and facilitate contract signings.
  • Review case facts and monitor treatment progress.
  • Negotiate settlements and oversee the litigation process to ensure compliance with timelines.
  • Prepare necessary legal documents and assist in mediation and trial preparations.
  • Manage case expenses and ensure effective cost control.
