Position Summary:
We are seeking an Associate Attorney with a minimum of two to three years of experience in Personal Injury Litigation. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in our dedication to securing the best outcomes for our clients through trial experience, effective case management, and adept handling of depositions. Applicants should possess strong skills in Pre-Litigation settlement processes to negotiate favorable results for clients and demonstrate proficiency in managing cases from inception to resolution. These competencies are essential for ensuring our clients receive the highest level of representation and support throughout their legal journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee Pre-Litigation case processes, which encompass:
- Initial client consultations
- Litigation review and case evaluation
- Client statements collection
- Establishing liability
- Drafting demands
- Negotiating settlements
- Conduct trial proceedings and represent clients in Personal Injury matters.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Effectively manage tasks and time in a dynamic environment.
- Navigate the litigation process with expertise.
- Multitask and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Utilize knowledge of case management software (preferably Needles).
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in Georgia (licenses in both Texas and Georgia preferred but not mandatory).
- Two to three years of experience in Personal Injury Litigation.
- Experience in Pre-Litigation case management and settlement.
- Strong trial experience.
- Effective deposition handling skills.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
