Job Overview:

The Roth Firm is seeking to expand its team with an Associate Attorney. Successful candidates will manage Personal Injury claims from initiation to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee file progress with legal staff and maintain communication with clients regarding key case issues.
  • Evaluate the merits of claims and negotiate settlements effectively.
  • Engage with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
  • Assess the necessity of litigation and pursue cases aggressively.
  • Monitor and manage client relationships, educating clients on processes and setting appropriate expectations.

Additional Duties:

  • Promptly return all client calls.
  • Conduct initial case evaluations and contract signings.
  • Review case facts and monitor treatment progress.
  • Negotiate settlements and assess the necessity of litigation.
  • Oversee the litigation process to ensure compliance with timelines.
  • Prepare interrogatories and responses.
  • Assist in mediation and trial preparation.
  • Attend state court and magistrate court hearings.
  • Facilitate closing and settlement meetings with clients.
  • Track and report on case and office expenses.
  • Resolve outstanding items on Trust and Business accounts.

*Bilingual/Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred but not mandatory.
