KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform installation, start-up, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and emergency service for industrial process equipment, including pumps, motors, VFDs, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems, piping, high-pressure components, and industrial controls.
  • Assemble and install new equipment and systems at client locations.
  • This role requires extensive travel and a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems, along with troubleshooting experience.
  • Actively represent and promote the company and its offerings while seeking new business opportunities with existing and potential clients to enhance profitable sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with valued clients, prioritizing their needs at all times.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong customer service orientation - dependable, hands-on, hardworking, honest, and capable of performing under pressure.
  • Team player mentality to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, with a sense of urgency and excellent organizational skills.
  • Solid knowledge and background in mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Experience in bending and installing rigid, IMC, and EMT conduits.
  • Ability to perform load calculations for circuits and determine proper conductor sizes.
  • Experience with 3 Phase WYE and Delta systems, as well as electrical panel assembly.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems operation.
  • Able to understand and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic/computer hardware functionality.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and listening skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field or a related area; 5 years preferred.
  • Willingness to travel extensively - typically 100% travel Monday through Friday.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.
  • Ability to pass background screenings and obtain necessary clearances.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to work outdoors in various environmental conditions.
  • May involve exposure to hazardous materials and equipment.
  • Ability to navigate around moving objects, vehicles, and machinery.
  • May require long periods of driving.
  • The role is medium-to-heavy in nature, involving walking, standing, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, pushing, or raising objects, with the ability to exert between 20 and 50 pounds of force regularly and 50 to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Capability to climb ladders with a 300 lb. weight limit.
