As the Human Resources Manager, your role will be pivotal in enhancing employee engagement and serving as a conduit between staff and leadership to cultivate a constructive workplace atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Human Resources (HR) policies and programs to ensure adherence to staffing and recruitment standards, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, attendance tracking, and personnel record management.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams and HR personnel to maintain a positive and open workplace culture.
  • Ensure that employee and organizational strategies lead to superior customer service.
  • Oversee all facets of the HR department, including administration, legal compliance, policy enforcement, benefits, compensation, hiring, retention, and termination processes.
  • Supervise HR team members.
  • Keep senior leadership and operations informed of HR developments that could affect overall performance.
  • Prepare HR reports for upper management as needed.

Qualifications for Success at GXO:

At a minimum, candidates should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional or military experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management.
  • Expertise in employee relations, policy administration, recruitment, HRIS, and timekeeping systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proven history of increasing responsibilities within the HR domain.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated success in resolving employee concerns in an open-door environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • The ability to offer management proactive strategies for fostering a positive employee relations environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration at all organizational levels.
