An established global supplier of automotive interior components is looking for a dedicated HR Specialist to support their operations.

The successful candidate should possess proficiency in both English and Spanish and have a minimum of five years of experience in conflict resolution and internal investigations. Familiarity with FMLA regulations, employee relations, and reasonable accommodation practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities of the HR Specialist:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Lead investigations into workplace issues related to discipline and grievances, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Engage in regular assessments of workplace performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution, including mediation and corrective actions.
  • Perform general HR duties such as training, coaching, terminations, and conducting exit interviews.
  • Assist in negotiating service contracts.
  • Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in company databases and generate reports as needed.
  • Support new hire orientation processes for full-time employees.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure adherence to OSHA reporting requirements.
  • Assist in organizing social activities within the workplace.
  • Utilize HRIS systems to track and update employee information.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications for the HR Specialist:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in Human Resources, focusing on conflict resolution and employee relations.
  • A four-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or a combination of a two-year degree with relevant work experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work well under pressure.
  • HR certifications such as PHR or SPHR are preferred.
  • A positive attitude with meticulous attention to detail.

This role is situated in a manufacturing and office environment. Candidates may be required to perform various physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, and lifting.
