Position Overview:

Your duties will encompass precise data management, verification of insurance details, securing necessary authorizations, and processing payments. You will serve as the primary liaison for patients, their families, insurance representatives, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring accurate entry of all scheduling and registration information.
  • Confirming insurance eligibility and acquiring necessary authorizations.
  • Calculating and collecting payments from patients.
  • Facilitating communication and obtaining necessary signatures on healthcare documents.
  • Upholding a professional representation of the Patient Access department.
  • Providing support during peak times or emergencies.
  • Contributing to the achievement of departmental performance goals and maintaining efficient workflow.
  • Engaging in training sessions and adhering to established procedures.
  • Monitoring and addressing workflow challenges.
  • Maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.
  • Executing assigned tasks while being responsive to patient needs.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1 – 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • No specific licenses or certifications required.

Work Schedule:

Standard hours are from 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday.

Employment Type:

This is a Full-Time position.
