Production Team Partner - Inventory Control Specialist
At UniFirst Corporation, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Team Partner to join our team. As a Production Team Partner in the Production/Off-Service Department, you will be responsible for aiding the process of validating customer returns and controlling inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate check-in processes for customer products being returned from Service routes
- Review and process all items returned to Route Service Representatives (RSRs) from customers
- Communicate with RSRs to ensure all documentations for returned items are received
- Work with RSRs to address and resolve discrepancies between actual returns and paperwork
- Remove products from customer invoices and process credits to customer accounts, when necessary
- Account for and verify that undelivered products are returned to inventory
- Maintain records of off-service products
- Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with company policies
- Manage and perform verifying processes, as directed
- Provide monthly activity reports
- Follow all safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Two-year degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Strong conflict management skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight measurement, volume, and distance
