Medieval Times is seeking enthusiastic CASHIERS who play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service by efficiently processing ticket sales. Cashiers are entrusted with safeguarding company resources through accurate cash management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle payments for admission ticket sales.
- Provide receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers as required.
- Ensure each guest experiences outstanding service by welcoming them and fostering a friendly atmosphere.
- Stay informed about all ticket prices, packages, promotions, and advertisements.
- Address customer complaints and relay requests to management when necessary.
- Record all cash and media transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Count cash in drawers at the start and end of shifts, ensuring it balances with sales records.
- Maintain a tidy work area and ensure supplies are adequately stocked.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in processing information using computer systems.
- Able to count cash and provide change accurately.
- Capable of handling difficult or discourteous guests when necessary.
- Effective communication skills with both team members and guests.
- Ability to read, count, and write to complete documentation accurately.
- Physical capability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 lbs.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in cashiering, retail, or customer service.
