Advanced Practice Nurse - Hospitalist

As a vital member of the healthcare team, the Advanced Practice Nurse plays a crucial role in the assessment and management of patient care within a hospital setting.

This position involves a comprehensive approach to patient evaluation, including the ability to diagnose and prescribe treatment plans in collaboration with licensed physicians.

The Advanced Practice Nurse is dedicated to fostering a safe and supportive environment, prioritizing the needs of patients and their families while ensuring respect for privacy, comfort, and emotional well-being.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Must possess a degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. (Required)
  • Master's Degree: Must have completed a Master's program in Nursing from an accredited institution. (Required)

Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a nurse practitioner is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a specialized clinical practice is preferred.
  • 1 year of outpatient or ambulatory care experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in an EPIC electronic health record environment is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:
  • CRNP - Pennsylvania Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (Required)
  • RN-LIC - Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License (Required)
  • PRX-AUTH - Prescriptive Authority (Preferred)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support Certification (Required)
