About the Role

LS Power Development, LLC is seeking a Director, Project Development who will have overall responsibility for successfully navigating the project development phase for complex utility-scale projects. Responsibilities would include oversight and setting direction of internal and external resources and activities to ensure project success.

Project development activities include market analysis, project conceptualization, engineering, site evaluations/acquisition, public relations, environmental/regulatory permitting, infrastructure interfaces, and contract negotiations.

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering, economics, business, or a related field.
  • Have 10 to 15 years of engineering and/or project management experience preferably in developing utility-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Effectively managed multiple assignments under time constraints.
  • Are a solutions-focused team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
  • Have excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Work independently with direction on a regular basis.
