Job Summary

ZenTech Consulting is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our technology team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning and directing the daily activities of a team focused on a particular system or technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technology strategies to support business objectives.
• Liaise with managers in IT and other functions to apply standard solutions and processes.
• Apply technical expertise to address technical and business issues.
• Manage cross-functional teams on large-scale projects.
• Supervise staff, including hiring, training, assigning work, and managing performance.
• Lead agile software development teams using Scrum and XP methodologies.
• Implement and use Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
• Develop software products using C#/.NET and SOA/microservices architecture.
• Ensure teams deliver on commitments, resolve issues, and track progress.
• Understand and negotiate dependencies with peers across teams.
• Create an environment where team members accept responsibilities.
• Interact with functional areas to influence thinking and gain acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• 5+ years of related IT experience.
• Previous experience as a lead in a functional area or supervisory experience.
• Experience leading agile software development teams.
• Experience implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
• C#/.NET experience.
• SOA/microservices experience.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.
• TDD or similar experience.
• Devops experience.
• Solid understanding of agile and XP programming concepts.
