About the Role

We are seeking a Director, Project Development who will have overall responsibility for successfully navigating the project development phase for complex utility scale projects. The successful candidate will oversee and set direction for internal and external resources and activities to ensure project success. Key responsibilities include market analysis, project conceptualization, engineering, site evaluations/acquisition, public relations, environmental/regulatory permitting, infrastructure interfaces, and contract negotiations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering, economics, business, or a related field
  • 10 to 15 years of engineering and/or project management experience preferably in developing utility scale infrastructure projects
  • Effective management of multiple assignments under time constraints
  • Solutions-focused team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with direction on a regular basis
