Job Title: Facilities Operations Coordinator

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Operations Coordinator to join our team at Carnival Cruise Line. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring that all maintenance and upkeep tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate building deliveries, team member mail, and shipments
  • Support the Manager of Carnival Studios to maintain building facilities
  • Assist with setting up building functions and celebrations
  • Coordinate regular maintenance and lead small projects for facility updates
  • Assist with ordering facility and apartment supplies

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in facility, stage, event, or company management
  • 2+ years of experience in an entertainment or facility operations position
  • Superb verbal and written skills
  • Detail-oriented in documentation and data management
  • Excellent working knowledge of Office and Outlook
  • Valid Florida Driver's License
  • Clean driving record
  • Provide proof of valid car insurance
  • Must have their own form of transportation
  • Taking a pre-employment drug test, the result of which is negative

Physical Demands:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities. Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds.

Travel:

Less than 25% shore-based travel.

Work Conditions:

Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. May be requested to work a different shift. Work Saturday's. Days off may not be consecutive and may include weekends based off operational needs. Hours may vary.

This position is classified as "in-office." Because of the nature of the role, employees are required to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida five days each week.

Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.

Holidays – All full-time and part-time with benefits employees receive days off for 7 company-wide holidays, plus an additional floating holiday to be taken at the employee's discretion.

Vacation Time – All full-time employees at the manager and below level start with 14 days/year; director and above level start with 19 days/year.

Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 84 hours/year.

All employees gain additional vacation time with further tenure.

Sick Time – All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
