RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for facilities and engineering operations, driving excellence in every aspect of our physical infrastructure.
  • Lead the annual capital planning process, ensuring timely completion of projects and maintaining our high standards.
  • Manage the Facilities department budget, making informed decisions to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess the condition and maintenance of our physical structure, mechanical systems, and equipment.
  • Implement effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs, promoting sustainability and reducing our environmental footprint.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes and OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate with government and insurance inspectors to maintain our safety standards.
  • Oversee vendor selection and procurement policies, negotiating agreements that benefit our organization.
  • Lead and develop a team of facilities professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Establish and communicate goals, KPIs, and action plans for the Facilities department, driving continuous improvement.
  • Report regularly to senior leadership on the condition of our infrastructure and equipment, providing expert insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with stakeholders to implement best practices and resolve issues, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, driving business growth and success.
  • Implement standard operating procedures and best practices across the facilities functions, promoting efficiency and consistency.
  • Respond to and address emergency situations affecting our facilities and infrastructure, demonstrating quick thinking and effective problem-solving.

QUALIFICATIONS

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Ability to plan and manage strategic and operational aspects of facilities and engineering.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards, building codes, and safety practices.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices and building codes, with ability to train subordinates.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain government required licenses, certificates, or permits.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel systems, equipment, and engineering functions.
