About the Position:

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is in search of a Finance Specialist to assist the organization with financial planning and consolidation efforts. In this role, you will contribute to the development, communication, and monitoring of departmental budgets. This fast-paced and dynamic position will provide strategic business partner support and financial insights, focusing on reporting, forecasting, and supporting strategic initiatives. You will report to the Senior Finance Manager.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business partners to prepare and review budgets and forecasts.
  • Update and manage operational expenditure forecast models and scenario analyses.
  • Create business case models, visualizations, and reporting dashboards to deliver analysis and insights for senior management decision-making.
  • Oversee month-end closing tasks, including journal entry preparation, account analysis, and reclassifications.
  • Utilize knowledge of key systems (SAP, BPC, TM1) to enhance analytics and reporting tools, driving valuable insights and improving planning and reporting processes.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance internal processes, improving efficiency and quality.
  • Handle additional ad-hoc requests as necessary based on business or financial requirements.
Your Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills; Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred.
  • Proficient in PC skills, particularly with financial applications and reporting tools, especially Microsoft Excel and Google Docs.
  • Excellent planning, project management, and organizational skills, with effective time management and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work under pressure, showcasing teamwork and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in maintaining accounting records and preparing financial reports.
  • Ability to identify problems, gather data, draw valid conclusions, and propose solutions.
  • Capability to build and maintain effective working relationships with diverse business partners.
  • Familiarity with SAP, TM1, or similar programs is a plus.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience navigating complex business environments.
  • Analytical proficiency, able to synthesize data and provide insightful narratives.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively balance various priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with ERP systems (TM1, Alteryx) is advantageous.
