About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our estimating and project management team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead estimating and project management team to ensure successful project delivery
  • Participate in estimating, pre-construction planning, and managing all phases of construction projects
  • Emphasize safety, quality, and continuous process improvement throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure effective utilization of resources
  • Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DNR, and other regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
  • Identify cost trends and lead efforts in cost reduction and process improvement
  • Meet with accounting and management team to review revenue goals and implement strategies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 5+ years of experience running heavy highway, municipal, and/or commercial construction projects
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a supervisory role preferred
  • HCSS, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and/or similar program experience
  • Proficiency in use of computers and mobile devices (Android/iOS), including MS Office programs required
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop others, define goals and objectives, and hold others accountable
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and solve complex problems
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to effectively present information to individuals at all levels of the organization
