Position Overview:
This senior-level sales position is focused on identifying and securing new business opportunities while enhancing relationships with existing clients in key municipal and industrial sectors. The individual will act as a Key Account Manager, responsible for driving profitable growth by establishing trust and rapport within a designated client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to enhance customer retention and foster growth.
  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities within the industrial sector in the assigned region.
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to educate clients on wastewater compliance and the unique services offered.
  • Manage client relationships throughout project lifecycles, ensuring effective communication between clients and internal teams.
  • Conduct research to identify potential business lines and target customers.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for industrial/manufacturing clients and local municipalities to support profitable revenue growth.
  • Maintain an organized CRM sales pipeline by documenting all customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Successfully negotiate and close profitable opportunities with both existing and new clients.
  • Assess customer needs and market dynamics to ensure optimal service delivery and pricing strategies.
  • Analyze account profitability and develop strategies to maximize profit and expand market share.
  • Prepare project bids and oversee the management of resources, including equipment and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the wastewater industry.
  • Proven track record in B-to-B sales within industrial or commercial sectors.
  • Strong sales orientation with a hunter mentality.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Robust background in account management.
