Executive Director Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as an Executive Director. This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership to a senior living community, driving operational excellence, and fostering a positive resident experience.

Key Responsibilities

Community Leadership
  • Partner with regional and corporate leadership to develop and implement short and long-term plans for the community.
  • Lead a team of professionals, providing coaching, development, and motivation to ensure exceptional performance.
  • Assess and manage staffing levels to meet the needs of the community and residents, while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
  • Collaborate with regional and divisional Human Resources to address team member-related matters.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, working closely with department heads and corporate legal as needed.
  • Prepare and present reports to regulatory agencies and the Five Star corporate office.
Resident Experience Oversight
  • Focus on delivering a positive resident experience by building relationships and setting high standards for team performance.
  • Address grievances from residents, families, and staff in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements

Experience & Education
  • Bachelor's degree and Administrator's license/certification per state requirements.
  • Passion for working with seniors.
  • Prior experience as a General Manager, Executive Director, or Administrator in the healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated management experience with direct supervision of a team of at least 10.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen, including familiarity with financial reporting and P&L statements.
  • Experience in sales and marketing, identifying and building local relationships to drive business.
  • Computer proficiency, knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, and Adobe Acrobat.
