This role qualifies for Eskaton's health benefits package starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment and Paid Time Off benefits after 90 days.

Position Overview:

The Campus Security Officer is tasked with ensuring the overall safety of the campus. Responsibilities include conducting rounds to monitor security services, inspecting vehicles, apartments, and other facilities, as well as overseeing the grounds. The officer will check in and out visitors and residents at the community entrance and parking areas, report any suspicious activities to law enforcement, and assist residents with transportation on campus. This position requires availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. is preferred.

Training and Experience: First aid training is required. A valid California driver's license is necessary, with no more than one at-fault accident or two moving violations in the past three years. Candidates must be insurable by Eskaton's automobile insurance provider.

Job Knowledge: Basic safety knowledge and writing skills for documentation are required.

The selected candidate must successfully complete Eskaton's post-offer, pre-employment assessments, which include a criminal background check, drug screening, COVID test, TB screening, and health evaluation.
